I have such a wonderful new family
Delilah

12-14-19 Darling Delilah got adopted today. Delilah she was picked up on the streets and brought to animal control. We didn't have any history on Delilah but this sweet girl was in serious need of medical intervention. She has two huge mammary masses, dry flaky skin, and skin issues. Poor Delilah was so matted and unkempt it was obvious she had been neglected for a while. When Delilah was rescued by United Yorkie Rescue, she got the care and love she so desperately needed in her foster home. After she received the medical care and surgery she needed she was finally ready for her forever home. This adorable little girl knew the right family was out there for her just wanting and waiting to make Delilah their forever girl. Today Delilah found herself in the arms of her forever mom and dad. She has a fur brother for a friend and a nice fenced yard to hang out in. Delilah's new mom and dad are stay at home doggie parents. Delilah is so happy. Life is so great. Happy Tails Delilah, the best is yet to come.

Hi everyone. I found my forever family
Boba Lou

12/11/19 Boba Lou the puppy was adopted today. This little 11-month-old Yorkie mix boy is so full of life and love that he was having trouble learning some of his doggie manners. His former home was full of kids and activity and there was Boba Lou right in the middle of it. They knew he needed a home with someone home to help him with all his doggie manners and training. He needed a playmate and a fenced yard so he could run off his energy. Today Boba Lou got exactly what he needed. He has a new forever home with a mom and dad who will be home a lot and best of all he now has a fur sister who is about his age. The minute they met they started to play and had so much fun in the fenced backyard that everyone knew Boba Lou had to be a part of their family. Baba Lou found his forever family and his forever family found their forever puppy.

I have been adopted. Hooray
Toby

UPDATE 12/06/2019: Toby has been adopted into his forever home! Hooray! This little munchkin came into UYR after being passed around to several different homes, and he was confused and desperately needed to be vetted and have a dental since his little mouth was hurting him so bad. Fast Forward several weeks and look at him now! He has done amazing since getting caught up on his vaccinations and having a dental and the perfect adopter came along who wanted to give him his forever home where he would always be loved and cherished and never have to leave! What a wonderful early Christmas present for little Toby. Have a happy life Little Man!

Hooray I was adopted today.
Banjo

12/3/19 Banjo was adopted today. Banjo found a wonderful forever home. Banjo is an adorable and sweet senior fellow who found himself homeless and at an area animal shelter. The staff at the shelter recognized that he really needed to be out of the shelter, and reached out to UYR to see if we could pull him. Of course, we said YES! His foster mom immediately went to the shelter to scoop him up into her arms and bring him to his new foster home. Banjo was so happy in his foster home. He had a doggie bed, and toys, and lots of love and care. All that was missing was his forever home and that happened today. He has a kitty sister and a stay at home mom. He even has a wonderful fenced backyard for running and sunny. Happy Tails little Banjo. Hooray for you.

Harley and Scooby Doo and their new mom together forever
Scooby Doo (and Harley)

12/2/19 Hooray! Today was the day that Scooby Doo and his brother Harley were adopted together and will now be together forever. They spent their whole life with their first owner. But when her life changed and she could no longer keep the boys and knowing they loved each other and had to stay together they became United Yorkie Rescue dogs. Their foster mom never saw two pups who loved each other so much. They sleep together and kiss each other, and if one is around the other is not far away. They even played ball together. There was no way they could ever be apart. Their new mommy knew that and adopted both boys to be her babies forever. They have a fenced yard they can run around and play ball together. They will get to go on car rides, be taken to the beach, and just have the best life ever. And best of all, their forever mom and dad are stay at home parents who will be with them all the time. These sweet 10-year-old seniors are starting their new life today. Happy Tails Scooby Doo and Harley too.

I am so happy to have a wonderful mom and brother to play with.
Maizie Hope

11/22/2019: This precious little girlie was picked up by animal control in horrendous condition, with severe corneal laceration on both of her eyes, bite marks all over her muzzle and behind her ears, and maggots and maggot eggs in all her wounds. As a result, she did lose one of her eyes, but her other eye has healed - thankfully.

Maizie has consistently shown that she is resilient and although she has had some neglect in her recent past, she still had HOPE that her future would be much brighter. She is an energetic, lively and beautiful little girl who loves nothing better than to play with her toy and receive belly rubs. She is just such a sweet little angel. And this little angel went to her forever home today where she will have a huge fenced-in yard in which to run and play, an adoring mom who is retired, and a little chihuahua/pug boy named Monty for a big brother. How lucky can a girl like Maizie get? She will receive all the love and attention she has missed during the recent past before she came into UYR. Such a wonderful and endearing ending for this precious little girl who has hit the jackpot in her adoptive home. Sweet! Have a Happy Life, Maizie Hope - you will be missed a lot by your foster mom.

I have the best new family ever.
Sophie

11/17/19 Hello, it is me Sophie. And guess what? have a Furever home! In only 7 weeks, I went from being tied to a tree and abandoned by the side of the road, to being loved and cared for by my Foster Mom, to hitting the doggie jackpot! I not only found my Furever home, but I have inherited a little doggie brother and playmate, as well as an extended family of aunties, cousins, and other doggies. I am told by my new Mommy that I am going to be so spoiled and loved, and after 10 1/2 years of neglect I think I deserve every bit of it, if I do say so myself! Happy Tails dear Sophie!

I love my new mom and dad
Jimmy Chew

11-13-19 Adorable, sweet, little Jimmy Chew was adopted today. Two months ago sweet Jimmy found himself in the shelter. As luck would have it, he was adopted at the end of August. But Jimmy's luck didn't hold for very long. Somehow while he was in his new home, he hurt his hip and his new family brought him back to the shelter. Imagine his sadness and confusion. He had a family for a month and then he didn't. And again, through no fault of his own, sweet Jimmy was back in the noisy shelter, only this time he was in pain. He was hurting and limping. But his luck changed quickly. United Yorkie Rescue came to his rescue and Jimmy Chew was going to get the help he needed. He was immediately put on pain meds and plans were made for his big surgery. It took a few weeks to heal from his hip surgery and Jimmy was finally ready to go to his forever home. Today he did. He has a wonderful new mom and dad and even a new fur brother and sister. There is fenced yard to run around in, as well as lots of toys and doggie bed, and a house full of love and caring. We are so happy for sweet Jimmy. He is finally home for good.

I got the best forever family ever. I am so happy.
Dana

11/12/19 Adorable Dana was adopted today. She really found her most perfect forever home. Little Dana lost the only mom she had ever known. Her mommy had a massive stroke and was unable to communicate and was no longer mobile. She could not take care of little Dana. She was in a nursing home getting 24-hour care. Dana went to live with some people who really didn't want her. They took her in just to keep her from having to go to the shelter. They would hold Dana until she could find another place to live. Dana's owner's son and daughter-in-law who live across the country were able to contact United Yorkie Rescue. They told us about Dana and what was happening with her. That is all we needed to know. In less than 24 hours Dana became a United Yorkie Rescue dog. She was the sweetest little girl and her foster parents knew this sweet girl would find a wonderful forever home. She found that home today. She has a fur brother, a wonderful fenced yard, and she even gets to go to work with her dad. What a great life is ahead for darling Dana. Happy tails little girl. We are so happy for you.

I have my forever home with my best friend Rocky.

We are going to be together always in our forever home.
Buddy (and Rocky)

11-6-19 Buddy and his brother and best friend Rocky were adopted together today. Buddy and Rocky did not have the best life at their former home. Sadly, they have lived their whole lives in a hot metal shed behind the owner's house. That all changed when they were rescued by United Yorkie Rescue. Their foster mom knew these boys loved each other very much and needed to be adopted together. Today that happened. They will have the best life ever with their new mom and dad. Best of all they will always be together. Life will never be sad for these boys ever again
